SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Theatre Three invites you to spend the summer discovering the world of professional theatre. Summer interns are high school students or college students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. These interns work at Theatre Three for 8-10 weeks during the summer months. This is an unpaid internship that may be applied towards course credit or educational volunteer service credit.

The Summer Internship is designed for theatre students who want to explore their career options in a professional setting. An intern can be expected to perform any number of duties including:

Production Assistant

• Assist theatre personnel in the scene and costume shops (as skills and need demands)
• Serve on the backstage crew and/or in the lighting and sound control booth for performances.
• Rehearsal assistance as needed
• Assist the Production Manager with administrative duties

Customer Service Staffer

• Handle all duties including customer information, ticket processing, reservation processing, and accounting on phone, on-line, and in person
• Assist house manager with housekeeping duties associated with receiving the public
• Assist house manager with concessions or party food connected with celebratory evenings
