Intro to Dramaturgy with Dante Flores

Just what is dramaturgy? Is it as simple as doing a couple of quick google searches, or is it something deeper? In three classes, Dallas-based dramaturg Dante Flores will introduce students to some of the principles of dramaturgy that have guided him over the past few years. Students will learn the basics of reading a text, the basics of production dramaturgy, and how to tailor their work and research to the needs of the production.
